We all have a story that is part of the ultimate story – God’s story!  Annessa’s story represents well someone who is experiencing God’s redemptive work in her life!

 

Annessa experienced great loss and much physical and emotional abuse at a young age. The loss and the abuse greatly distorted her self perception — she felt as if she couldn’t measure up, leading to depression, drug use and suicidal thoughts. School lost priority, which led her to the Crossing.

 

At the Crossing school, Annessa experienced teachers and staff who cared for, invested in, and loved her! She was introduced to Jesus and the love He has for her. Her new relationship with Jesus is changing her and how she sees herself – loved by God!

 

Annessa has been accepted at Indiana Tech University and is pursuing her dream of starting a pre-school someday. She has a great full-time job that she loves and is saving for her dream car – a Charger!

We have partnered with The Crossing School of Business & Entrepreneurship to help empower and equip students to replace their pain with purpose and how to use their story for His glory.

 

A graphic designer has listened to Annessa’s story and with one of Annessa’s favorite Bible verses in mind, Ephesians 2:13, created a design.
